Early childhood education coaching

A coaching package with Early Childhood Outreach is completely tailored to the needs and size of your team. The exact inclusions and cost will be finalised after discussion with our Director. Our early childhood education coaching provides practical, individualised support that helps early childhood professionals reflect on their practice and build confidence in creating inclusive environments for children.

The package aligns with goals such as:

  • Building confidence of educators to support the communication, inclusion, participation and wellbeing of all children
  • Providing an environment which facilitates high quality interactions, promotes social/emotional learning and supports the development of positive, secure, safe and respectful relationships
  • Building knowledge of educators about effective self-regulation and positive behaviour support techniques

Flexible and tailored to your needs

Centres may choose how many visits they require, and how frequently. Perhaps a burst of support with multiple visits over one term, or a long term package with a visit to the centre every term in the two year cycle. A long term package offers the opportunity to build connections and a trusting relationship between the coach, educators and children.

Some options which can be included:

  • In centre observation and reflection coaching visits for each of your funded kindergarten rooms (compulsory)
  • Face to face training presentations
  • Online check-in to discuss progress and reflect on current strategies and challenges
  • Live webinar training for your team
  • Pre-recorded content for individual educators to access as and when required
  • Research into and provision of resources such as visuals for your team

This flexible approach to EC Inclusion coaching allows professional learning and reflection to respond to the priorities of your educators, children and early childhood setting.

For eligible Victorian services, SRF early childhood education coaching can provide a way to align coaching and professional learning with your School Readiness Funding goals. A School Readiness Funding coaching program can be tailored around the needs of your service, with SRF coaching and mentoring combining reflection, professional learning and practical support.

A quote will be prepared individually for your centre, and will include a combination of the following items:

Coach contact time

$350 per hour (minimum 3).

Training presentation

$1000 for up to 20 people.

Travel

$150 per hour from Geelong.

Accommodation

$350 per night.

Metro services

$75 metro weighting.

Early Childhood Outreach offers a range of on-demand online learning options to support inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming practice in early childhood settings in regional, rural and remote areas. Training includes introductory presentations, single-topic sessions, bundled learning packages, document templates, and optional 1:1 reflection sessions.
